Adorable and good fun brilliant idea
Assad 👏👏👏👏
Yes, what a great play by Shakespeare...oh, silly me! I thought the RSC put on plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries!
That is the correct answer
Seen it twice already, beyond brilliant
I saw this when it was on in Stratford, and found it moving, thought-provoking, and really well-done. You could really tell that it means something, on a personal level, to the creators. If you're interested in how it feels to move between languages and cultures, see this!
I love this scene so so much
I’m really confused what is happening but damn how did he just know all the words?! ….also looks hot😎
extremely interesting
I saw this and went “idk what this is”….. And then I saw David Tennant
Why is this so well known and The Lamentable Tragedie of Titus Andronicus (1590) is not?
Moral of the story; If you take out the king, make sure you take out all the kings, retainers, corders, princes, and generals. It’s like chemotherapy, you need to get every last cell.
I’ve been twice and would happily watch this again! I do hope it’s being filmed for DVD release because it’s wonderful stuff!
Seen this twice already, go see!
Looks another hit
💯
A fabulously funny production! 🤣🎭🤣
Teehee. Look at him now. 😊🎬
SIGMAR’S BLESSINGS, YES!
Amazing
I guess I know my Birthday present.
So excited to watch!!!!
I really hope this tours - will it? Keen not to miss it!!
A man playing Salome??!! What moron director came up with this nonsense?? Even Oscar Wilde would think this idiotic. Ugly staging to boot. The London theater scene has really taken a nosedive in the past decade.
"Speak to him yarely - bestir, bestir!" 😎😊
I GENUINELY AM NEVER GETTING OVER THIS
I'll be there first two previews in Conference Seats can't wait
Tony Sher - my favourite actor ever. His Falstaff is hilarious, self-serving, piteous and cowardly. Sher's acting is simply magic.
First!:3
Who decides on these timetables? 'Hamlet' and 'Edward II' two of the best plays on this year relegated to February! Anyone who has tried, knows the risk of being snowed in at Stratford is massive (I have been 3 times over the years) because the buses and trains stop running. So unfair to put them on then, when so many of us will want to see them.
So hope this will have a life beyond Stratford
We have some great news for you Greg! www.rsc.org.uk/the-buddha-of-suburbia 👀
This is the least heart-rending rendition of that scene I have ever watched performed. I agree with the previous poster who said Shakespeare intended for the actor to howl rather than to say "howl".
That was amazing
All The World's a Stage - in lockdown
Coming first two previews in the Conference seats
Can I watch it online since I don't live there ?
Amazing! - I'm learning/rehearsing a monologue from Richard II (ACT III SCENE II) - these diaries are so informative and inspiring! - I really want to visit the Westminster Hall now. Every time a delve back into Shakespeare I'm reminded what a genius scholar and poet he was.
this shit is ass lmfao
Seeing first preview from A row in stalls, think I'm in the conference seats, gonna be amazing
Is anyone as sick of hearing the word racist applied to everything these brainwashed “intellectuals “ can conjure up (even Shakespeare?? Seriously??) as I am?
Hmm. Rather watch a Shakespeare play than have "an experience". When they say, "it's modern". I know l won't go near it.
Really looking forward to this production 😊🎭
How do actors remember those lines? I've heard that it's to do with rhythm but my brain's not wired that way unfortunately.
MUSIC NAME ?
good shit white boy
This story just proves how society changed. A patriarchy to a matriarchy. Just choose one MFs.
Brother and sister?? The ones in the woods were both men.
the feminist trying to coax the absolutely goated man and getting shut down is so satisfying
